Quarterly Men’s Breakfast – A time for men to share in God’s Word and friendship. This special time for men will be scheduled on Saturday mornings at 7:30 am. Softball League – We play in the Greater New Hampshire Men’s Evangelical Softball League from April thru August This is a great opportunity for the sports-inclined man but also the entire church. Everyone is welcome at the ballpark on Friday evenings for a good time of playing and cheering. Men’s Conferences– have also become a part of our travels. We usually participate in at least one each year. This year we attended “IRON SHARPENS IRON” on Saturday, April 28, in Portsmouth, NH. Men’s Discussion Group – meets each Wednesday at 7 p.m. in our church building. Our format is to read a book of Christian interest and then discuss its relevance to our lives. We are currently reading “God and Government” by Chuck Colson. Golf Outing – This will be our 3rd year and success continues as the men try to improve on their golf swing. All players from any level are invited (from golf pro to novice!). Church and Community Services - Men’s group to help others – in our church and the community. This is a completely new outreach beginning in 2007; “helping others get a job done”. We have men in the church that are available to assist others in need of help i.e. painting, cleaning, light construction, yard work, moving, etc. Our first project was assisting CARENET of Nashua with preparation of their new offices located on Main St Various churches from the local area assisted and the project was a huge success. Please let us know if you have a need! Building stronger relationships – How do we build our relationship with God? We believe that by applying and building on biblically based habits (honesty, accountability, forgiveness, service, obedience, surrender, etc.) and working through small groups (2-3 men) will improve our relationship with God and family. |
